About Us
Hawk Mountain Tree Farm was started in 1977, by Carroll E. Garland, with the idea that he would supply his Fraser Fir Christmas tree lot in Charlotte NC with the trees he would grow. Now, in 2006, we have over 700 acres of NC Fraser Fir Christmas trees currently in production. Carroll A. Garland is the farm manager and has grown up in NC Christmas tree farming. Sonya Garland is the office manager of the farm and both she and Carroll have two young farmers in training.

At an elevation of 4,000 feet, Fraser firs flourish in the High Country of North Carolina. We produce 75,000 trees annually and pride ourselves in the fact that they are healthy, lush trees.
